Logitech H111 Mic Barely picking up my voice?

So i just bought a brand new mic from walmart, the logitech h111, and all looks good, until i try talking in gmod, no one responds, so i check the volume, and it only hears my flicking the mic, i went into recording devices and turned the sucker all the way up, and still nothing, how can i fix this? thank you

i had a similar problem with my corsair void, and i was able to fix it using equalizer APO to raise the microphone's gain https://sourceforge.net/projects/equalizerapo/

your problem may also just be that the mic isn't nearly sensitive enough, in which case a software solution isn't going to help
