I stopped using Comcast modems after the whole Xfinity wifi thing

(For those who don't know, Comcast modems broadcast a public "Xfinity WiFi" network that allow any Comcast customer to connect to your network and use your internet connection. Supposedly you can disable it, but it's buried within the website instead of the device, and when I tried it, the page didn't work)

Yeah I saw the same thing. They claim it won't slow down your network but that's loving horsestuff.

Also, Comcast thinks they're being cool by rolling out Xfinity Mobile. They're trying to be Verizon right now, except they suck at all of it. And the funny part is that they're using Verizon's network for it...

I'm betting a Verizon + Comcast merger. Out with the ol Verizon FiOS, in with the new Comcast Branded Blast Super Pro! With 1gbps, it only costs 5000$ a month and 10000$ to install! Ain't that just a steal!
you must live right next door to a datacenter or you're not getting it kiddo

see here in australia telstra loving sucks and gives you a stuff internet connection but at least they dont pull this stuff
