"I'm just here for the money"

idk man i'm just naturally pessimistic

What's that? Couldn't hear you over how homeless you're going to be.

my only interview was at another kroger and i didn't get the job
If you're going for a retail/store job, you're going to want to send out more applications. These kinds of jobs tend to have absolute stuffloads of applicants, and there's not a whole lot you can do to differentiate yourself as a potential grocery-bagger. Your best bet is to apply to dozens of them and try to nail the interview. You will get rejected from the vast majority of jobs but that's just how this kind of thing works. Two interviews aren't enough unless you're super lucky.

not much i can do besides retail

also i've been putting out lots of applications (i think i put out at least 40 within the last 4 months). the job market where i live though is absolute garbage

i'm good at least until i graduate college

kick down the door and just do finger guns the entire interview.
not a single loving word, just finger guns

This is probably true. Just keep putting out more and don't really worry if they reject your application. The application fielding process is fairly arbitrary and all you can really do is send in a good-looking resume.

maybe that's also an issue- i never send in a resume because i don't have one

i think, i don't have any experience or a job history so what's the point?

That is certainly an issue if they ask for resumes. Do you have any sort of school activities whatsoever? Boy Scouts? Volunteering work? Any sort of vocational skills? Can you use power tools? Have you ever held an officer position in a school club? All these things can work on a resume, considering your age.

no to all of those

never had an application where they require an resume, but it's optional.

How does this translate into being stuff at job interviews

If you can't put anything on a resume, then it's best to not include one. My advice is to continue shotgun-sending out job applications until you get more interviews, and then do everything in your power to not miss the interview. Brush up on best practices for job interviews. Practice them with your friends/family. Figure out where exactly you'll be interviewing a couple days beforehand, and try to get your interviewer's phone number if it's publicly listed.

Sorry to say, but 10 a month is not a lot at all.
If the job market where you are is tough then there are definitely people putting out a lot more applications than that.

Go in to the interview wearing black slacks, a black shirt and black dress shoes. Combine that with a plain dark purple silk tie or a plain orange tie. Also make sure you're wearing a belt.

When I was interviewing a long time ago for a National Sales Director position with Dish they immediately pointed out how different I was compared to other candidates strictly from the style of clothing. This combined with a near "silver-tongue" dialogue got me the position without even finishing the interview.

The entire idea is to make sure that you're different. Stand out. Even though you may have a natural pessimistic outlook, if you stand out it gives off an aura of confidence. That will honestly and truthfully get you recognition.

Speak clearly and smoothly. Don't stutter. If they ask you a question about how you'd handle a situation... bullstuff with them. Joke around first and that will give you a few extra seconds to think about the question and respond in a unique way.

Also, use Indeed to find work. My suggestion is to go into sales. You get money and experience. Sales is literally the most useful field you can get in as far as experience and references goes. From personal experience, sales can lead into any job you want. Within reason of course.
