Author Topic: My server is crashing much more frequently since installing these add-ons (Read 1755 times)

Are any of these known to be problematic?

I go through the console to look for clues but I don't see anything which points to the crash, and it happens several times a day.

Only thing I can think of that used to sporadically crash my server is a vehicle with a bad/concave collision box crashing into the ground in the wrong way. Those 4 seem fine though, weird.

Try removing eventRestrictions and maaaaaybe OSR, gravity jeep, GCatsSpecialWeapons, flash grenade, and DWeapons. Can say with confidence the rest dont crash servers normally.

I got rid of DWeapons and GCats weapons earlier and I still crashed, so it's not them. But I've just gotten rid of eventRestrictions, flash grenade and gravity jeep and I'll see if that fixes it. I'll keep the topic posted.

may have to remove every add-on and slowly add one, could also be a recent client add-on you installed

It's pretty much only ever when we have >10 players. And it usually happens after several hours of uptime.

is your BL.exe up to date, and/or using any dlls? my understanding is some dlls can make the game unstable.

I really want to say you should do trace but if you'll get lots of lag when people are doing so many things.

If it did not crash before it's definitely something you installed recently. If you can't figure it out it's going to be one of those times where you do have to manually reinstall and then slowly add files and see what is messing with it.
