Author Topic: My dedicated server keeps printing "Authentication FAILED: DNS error."  (Read 1853 times)

It was working yesterday and I made no changes to it, now it keeps on printing this error message that it failed to connect to the DNS?
Any solutions to fix this issue?

DNS Error means that your connection could not connect to Blockland. It could be blocked. Make sure firewall is allowing the connection, and make sure the router is not blocking the connection either.

This is on a OVH ram cloud box, not at my home, though it was working yesterday so I don't see why its now having issues. I added blockland to the firewall as public and private, restarted the server and it still won't connect. I did try to connect to auth.blockland.us (in the web browser) on the box and I couldn't connect to that either.

im getting the same issue on glasses servers for whatever reason. i started getting dns errors around an hour ago

Jincux said blockland.us seemes to be having actual dns issues, but my server is online now so if i were you id try again and see if it works

I'm still having dns issues and I also don't have blockland glass so I don't think that's the issue?

blockland.us itself was having dns issues not just glass

blockland.us itself was having dns issues not just glass
the entire *.us tld was having dns issues

The server works now, thanks everyone who helped out!
