Author Topic: The Magnificent Island House  (Read 1938 times)

I've been working on this project for a while, and I haven't actually built anything new for quite a long time; it started off as a town hall for some kind of RPG, and I never really finished it due to lack of motivation so I've been working on it ever since. Anyway, I decided to finish it, the name's a work in progress obviously, I might decide to change it if anyone suggests a better one; I know it's pretty small, but I've tried to focus on detail more than anything - any suggestions for improvement would be welcome, as well as praise, below are some pictures of it:

The view from outside

The main hallway

Another view of the hallway area

The stairs going up to the second floor

The dining room (and the kitchen)

One part of the kitchen

The other part of the kitchen

A set of stairs going up to floor 3

A view of the wonderful balcony

The bedroom

The ensuite bathroom

Another view of the bedroom - nothing out of the ordinary here

The secret elevator leading to the basement

Floor 2 of the basement, a fish tank can be seen on the right

A secret passage, leading from the basement out to...

This place:

Someone suggested a bar where you can buy drinks, so I decided to put that in as well

Here's another view of the bar area

Another view of the fish tank from below this time

A secret cave entrance to the basement, connected to the bar area

Another view of the cave entrance

Investigating the wrecked tower close to the main island on the jet ski

A view from the back of the house

A view of the attic

Finally, a view of the roof decorations at the top

yes lad

Good job. I remember when you started building this a little while back.

wow great work, lots of effort put into every little space. that's awesome.

kinda remind me of the Myst build! nice work!

now remake this with all default bricks

You were somehow able to cram a whole forget ton of details into tiny rooms yet still make the rooms feel the right size. Words cannot describe how nice this is.

looks very nice, would love a save

You should build a medieval version of this on my server.
