My servers always dead!

I have blockland on my mac and I have a routor that i use for internet. I got my port fowarding all set up and my TCP/IP settings all set like it said to. So I started my server and went to check to see if it was there on another computer using the demo verison and it said my server is dead. Would that be a problem with my port forward or internet settings or is it some other problem.
I would really like some help.

Yea.

I doubt that's your problem, though. I had trouble setting up my router, so can't help ya other than that.

well i have a windows XP laptop and I tried fowarding the router, i got to get my sever and all but its dead too WHY LORD WHY!!!!!!       XO:cookie:
