Author Topic: PortForwarding VIA AT&T Router?  (Read 1214 times)

I used to have Cox, and I had a Linksys router. Lately, I got an AT&T router, it's alot more better, but there is only one problem. I don't know how to port forward on it.

Is it possible? Do I even need to Port Forward on an AT&T Router? I went to the Port Forwarding website and clicked the AT&T one for Blockland, yet the page is empty.

Can anyone help? Thanks.

The guide for the AT&T 6800G on PortForward says the following:

The 6800G will not allow you to forward enough ports, to run Blockland. You should try using the DMZ portion of this router if it is available. Alternatively you can try switching the router to bridged mode. You will need to contact your ISP to switch to bridged mode, so they can make the required changed on their end.

The DMZ options for your router can be found under Advanced Settings. You'll need to enter in the local IP address of your computer and turn it on.
