Author Topic: Code editor  (Read 1080 times)

A little while ago a booted up ubuntu and opened up a blockland script. Low and behold, it was neatly color coded. Made my life easy. I was wondering, is there anything that can replicate this on windows?

What did you open it in on Ubuntu?

What opened was the default text editor, which is Linux only, as it is included in the Genome desktop environment.
I opened the door file to change max doors :D

Crimson Editor? My sister uses that.

That looks like one. But I want one that is simple, nothing extra. Just color coding.

Ah. the website made it look much more complex. I don't like the colors they picked, Ubuntu's had brighter colors :/, but It'll work fine. Thanks.

Notepad++ also colors the diffrent parts of the code.

that looks shiny. I'll play around with both, and see what I can do.

I think that text editor is colour-coding it for either C# or C++, as they're very similar to Torque script.

Notepad2, its Notepad with extras, totally worth the 5 second download. No stuffty installs, just an exe :D
