[EMERGENCY] my mic in csgo do not work please help

its just pissing me off
I tried reinstalling and verifying and console commands n stuff and also steam discussions and youtube tutorials

basically the issue is like my mic outputs but it's just static stuff and you can't hear me at all

Is your mic's device set as the default recording device, and do you have the output volume raised in both Windows' (or your recording device's) and CS:GO's volume settings?

Go into steam friends and chat, Click on the gear icon then Click voice then change your input and output to your microphone and headset (or speaker or whatever you use) then change the Voice Transmission from "Open Microphone" to "Push To Talk". If it doesn't work then mess with the voice transmission type.
