i cant load addons or maps,what am i doing wrong?

i am following ALL the instructions to loading addons,but the box that is always open when your playing bl,says skipping mod addons,what do i do?
i cant figure out where i am supposed to put the maps,help me out here.

Err. if there is a file called "base" in the download put it in your main Blockland folder.
