Well I use Audacity and I want to record this sound, im using audacity beta and I click record and it records my microphone, I set it too stereo sound and it still does that..
Help please.

Switch the recording source to WhatUHear or something along the lines of that.

Theres only Stereo Mix and Microphone..
And both of them don't seem to work..

Im saying I want to record a sound off a video on youtube using Audacity but it records the microphone instead of the actuall sound.

I try to change it from Microphone to Stereo Mix but it still does not work, it still records off the microphone..

Its a laptop, it records sounds even when I unplug the microphone..

And you're trying to use a MICROPHONE?

You'd want to use the direct sound, am I right?

Situation:
He wants to record sound off of a YouTube video, not using a microphone through speakers, but directly record without microphone.

What the problem is:
Every time he tries to record with Audacity Beta, it records through microphone ONLY. There's Stereo Mix and Microphone but thats it.
