Author Topic: Many errors trying to add new color set  (Read 718 times)

If it helps, and it's probably the root of the problem, I am running Vista.

For a school project I need to create a new palette containing various shades of red.
I looked through the forums and figured out how to make one and where to put it, blockland/config/server

When I put the palette I had made there and started a game after restarting Blockland, the default color palette was still there.
So I deleted the one I had put there, figuring maybe there was something wrong with the way I had created it. I then went to the forums and downloaded one someone else had made. When I went to save it to the folder, it showed that another colorSet.txt was already there. But, when I right clicked on that one and opened it, Windows said it did not exist. In addition, when I changed the view criteria, it showed several nonexistant files, like AddOnList and musicList; these also did not open.
I went ahead and saved the one I opened, and when I ran Blockland, it appeared just as it should. After closing Blockland, I deleted the added colorSet to see what would happen, and when I went back into Blockland, the modded color set was still there.

Any idea what's happening here?

Well, after talking to a friend, I figured I should just reinstall it.
Thanks for...looking?
