How do I macro...?

Please... I really want to know. I looked at all tutorials out their and it still doesn't work for me. It just creates random bricks all over the place. My start record macro button is Ctrl+/ and play is Ctrl+V. I did everything the tutorials say.. No worky. any help? Pleeease?

Alright.
Don't move while recording or placing macros.
Press Ctrl+/ then start placing bricks how you want.
Then press Ctrl+/ again when done.

Place the brick you started with last time, where you want your recorded macro to be re-built.
Press Ctrl+V.
????

I just tried it. It didnt work. Ill take a video to show ya what happens. Gah this is annoying me -__-
