Author Topic: Need a Mission Editor (Read 3211 times)

Full directions:
1. Download the mission editor's RAR.
2. Extract the RAR to your Blockland folder.
3. Make a new shortcut for Blockland somewhere.
4. Right click on the new shortcut, select properties.
5. In the box labeled "Target:", which has the location of your blockland, type "-mod editor" (without the quotes) after the quoted blockland target. It should look something like the following:

"C:\Program Files\Blockland\Blockland.exe" -mod editor6. Click OK, and double click on the shortcut.
7. After blockland opens, start a single player server, and press F11.
8. You are now using the mission editor.

thx you...and my final question is.......how ar eyou going to extract the file when its not even in a zip folder?

.rar files are archives like .zip's. The main difference is that .rar's are compressed differently (and better) than .zip's.

screw it..it an't never going to work, i did everything.I have 2 computers, one with windows xp and vista, i did the same thing on both of them and nothing diffrent. I'm just not going to make maps.The end...

This is the exact reason why I put it in a rar file. If you're cant figure that out, you're never going to figure out the editor itself. Saves a lot of trouble.

I had to get winRAR on every one of my computers because of this. :'(

To run use the editor, run blockland.exe -mod editor If you don't know what this means, you probably won't be able to figure out the editor anyway. F10 = gui editor F11 = mission editor

does this work with the demo version.. and.. exactly which button do you click to dl it.. map2dif?
