Your anti-virus software is being a jerk, most probably.

I know, AVG 8.0 is a ass sometimes, how can I override this of some sort.

delete AVG? its crap
No, theres no other antivirus I can think of, Avast sucks on laptops because it can't detect anything due to this kind of laptop and AVG 8.0 is the only thing I have.

Can't you just ignore it and continue using it or is AVG 8.0 THAT crappy?

It just detected that Blockland was downloading an executable file.

try manually installing it

i use AVG 8.0 and that never happened with me?

Antiviruses do more harm than viruses. Its proven fact for me. But I still recommend anti spyware stuff.
UNINSTALL YOUR AV NAO!

I use Trojan Remover because it basically hacked the virus.

The virus would make fake Windows Firewall and Security center shortcuts on your desktop every time you deleted them, pop-ups, stuff etc. I couldn't find ANY of the stuff files, the ones I could find were completely blocked, I couldn't kill them without killing my computer.

The worst part: It seemed to block specifically LEGIT virus protectors. Even HijackThis. Then, I used a USB to transfer on Trojan Remover onto my computer. It actually opened, found all the registries and stuff, and cleared it. Fixed it right up. o.o

I had that once. I went through like 10 different scam virus scanners trying to find one that will actually get rid of the thing. I eventually found this one that you dont need to pay for, and actually removed it. The program itself though was annoying, so I uninstalled it and continued to use Avast.
