What is a gui

I have been wondering what all this gui talk. I have no idea what a gui is.

graphical user interface, its all the menus and things you see in the game

So how do I open one. Or can you?

If you coulden't open GUIs, they would be poibntless. Some examples of a GUI in Blockland would be:
The esc menu, the avatar options, and the join server screen.

I downloaded the cashmod thing and it said it had a gui. So how do I open it

It should have instructions on how to open it on the forum topic.  If it doesn't, you will have to press 'Esc', click 'Options', click the 'Controls' tab and then scroll down to the bottom.  Click on Cash GUI if it is there, then when a little box comes up, press a key on the keyboard to assign that key to the GUI, so when you press the key, the GUI pops up.
