Author Topic: Port Forwarding Wrong?  (Read 586 times)

I'm using a TP-Link TD-W8920G, I've correctly portforward the right ports and the server is alive but when people join they get an error like "Could not verify BLID". This is quite odd and I was looking at the console and it keeps saying
Code: [Select]
Issuing Disconnect packet.
CDROP: 8010 IP:192.168.1.1:52359
Posting to master server
Got Connect challenge Request from IP:192.168.1.1:61446

 Authentication Failed for Bites (192.168.1.1).
Every time some one connects, I've uploaded the console below.

Wouldn't let me attach it to the forums.

Hmm......

Anyway, sometimes this happens with my server, but only one person in, say, every 100.

I think it might be the Firewall on my Router but its impossible to turn off.

I had to do this for Blockland to completely work when hosting.  I wonder if it is possible to do this with the firewall on your router?

Start>Control Panel>Windows Firewall.

On the Exceptions tab, click 'Add Port...' and enter the details:
Name: blockland
Port: 28000
TCP/UDP: TCP

Do it again, but this time click UDP, see below:

Name: blockland
Port: 28000
TCP/UDP: UDP

While you are there, check to see if Blockland.exe is on the list.  If it isnt, click 'Add Program...' and search for Blockland.exe and add it.

It seemed to not matter whether windows firewall was on or off, but this fixed it.

Its router related, Windows fire wall hasn't caused me any problems with my old router.

Well about the only thing I can do now is setup the router to turn the firewall off but I'll have to ring Internode.
