Author Topic: How do you host a dedicated?  (Read 777 times)

It always says....
'Windows cannot find 'blockland.exe'

No I am not using a mac
Give me a answer other than 'Your actually using a Mac, Bitch'

Its in C:\Program Files\Blockland

Try renaming Blockland.exe to blockland.exe.

I know some computers will be fussy about the case of filenames supplied to them.

Thanks
Can't wait for the new version of Windows...
These useless crap will be fixed

Wait..
How do you rename it again?

Is it renaming 'Blockland'?
Or something else

Uhhh

You move your mouse (the arrow) onto the Blockland.exe file (the one with a big B) by moving the oval shaped thing next to your keyboard (or by sliding your finger over the touchpad if you use a laptop) then you press the far right button on your mouse (the oval thing) and it will open a menu.

You then move your mouse to the Rename area and click the left button on your mouse (again, the oval thing) and now type in blockland.exe with a lower-case b (using your keyboard) and press return or enter (the key with an arrow below backspace) and then run your dedicated.

Oh..
I knew that
Its just I did it..
And it still didn't work -_-

Then either you have failed at renaming the file, or dedicated.bat and blockland.exe are not in the same directory. I suggest you just give up because the process of maintaining a dedicated server relies heavily on your ability to use a keyboard instead of a pretty interface.

BTW, I don't have Dual Core Proccesor...

'Your actually using a Mac, Bitch'
No, cybertron, you are the macs.

Wait..
How do you rename it again?

Windows 7?
Like windows Vista.
hehe
