Author Topic: Big cube/Water bricks gone.  (Read 1001 times)

I was transferring some blockland add-ons and saves around from one of my flash drives to another, and they're gone. It appears as though I have them, but they don't show up on my bricks menu. How to get back without re-installing?

Double-post due to no edit button.

It seems I have two versions of the add-on. Both the zip files have the exact same contents, only one of them as a "namecheck.txt". I opened it up, and all it said inside was "Brick_Large_Cubes".

Just re-install it, Causes no harm.

Not necessarily true. I'd have to back up all my build saves and add-ons, and I'm not using my own computer, as it is out for repairs. There's no room on the computer I am using (the family computer) to back all that up, and I am currently running Blockland off of a 1 GB flash drive. However, I must still have the bricks, because on other servers they still appear on my brick list. Its just on my own game that I can't use the bricks.

1. The only way I can see all your add-ons and saves taking up more then a couple hundred MB is if you have a lot of maps. Either way, if you don't have enough free space, it's time to get another / a bigger hard drive, or delete stuff your not using.

2. You should be able to just reinstall to the same folder you have it in now.
It should overwrite any necessary files, while leaving everything else, such as add-ons, intact.

And, are you sure you have the bricks file checked off in the add-ons selection?

I'm pretty sure it's checked off, but the RTB2 add-ons list has the idea that one of the "bricks_large_cubes" add-ons is an emote...

Oh well, I'll try re-installing, and I'll leave this thread open in case it doesn't work.

Thank you, Headcrab, I re-installed Blockland and the cube/water bricks are back. However, even though I checked the box to back up old add-ons/saves, it didn't back up the build saves. Strange. Doesn't matter to be though. I had all my build saves and add-ons backed up on my other flash drive, so I'll just transfer them back. And as for the storage space thing, my brother used the family computer to back-up his laptop's entire hard-drive, because he thought it was going to crap out like mine did. It didn't but he hasn't gotten around to deleting the back-ups yet, leaving only a ridiculous 53 MB left. Thank you again, now locking.
