i have no idea on how to use add-ons

I've seen it, I forget who the OP was but Badspot had flamed him in it.

On topic:
Right click the icon you use to open up BL. Select "Properties" and then "Find Target." It'll open up the place where your add-on folder is, no matter what directory you put it in.
