Is there a way to prevent people from dropping items?

Don't think you can stop that also does it matted your still getting money

Keeping the tool in the inventory wouldn't be the best idea, because if your inventory becomes full of crap you don't want, what do you do? Plus, what's wrong with buying stuff for others? It is still being paid for. It's basically gift giving. I could probably expand on that by saying you have no holiday spirit, but I won't.

actually what I am afraid of, is people saving (on the checkpoint) and then dropping the tools to another person, then committing Self Delete and respawning with the items again

Anywho, easiest way to do this is download Chrono's RTB pref manager and turn item time to 0.
