A possible solution is if you have a second computer, laptop or an audio recording device have a cord go from one computer to the next from the audio out into the microphone jack, and then latter go back in and line up the sound with the visuals. Would work. Heck, I've wanted to record some video and that would work.

Actually, when I used Fraps 1.9d, recording without sound had about the same fps as when I recorded it with sound with Audacity.
