Occasionally I read the Blockland article (whenever I feel the need to punish myself).
Currently, the most pressing issues are:
- The large number of user mods for the Beta version most notably RTB, AiO, and finally TBM.
Issue: Sentence fragment
- Blockland uses a trigger and event based system that uses a scripting language to create very basic interactive objects.
Issue: Redundant
- It is still unclear to anyone but Badspot what the future of Blockland holds, although realistic physics has been suggested as an issue.
Issue: Write like you're writing an encyclopedia article instead of an adventure novel. Write sourced fact, not unsourced rumor. Don't make prophecies. Finally, nobody gives a damn that "physics have been suggested as an issue." I could write "adding purple flying acorn munching aardvarks to the game has been suggested for the next release," and it would be true AND equally as meaningful.
I realize I could fix them myself, but by posting them here there is at least the small chance that the person who wrote these sentences might run across my post and be a little more careful next time they edit the article. I don't have the time to hunt through the edit logs and then politely suggesting the guilty study a bit before giving editing another shot.
The Roblox article is gone because:
1. It was written like an advertisement.
2. It's community either isn't capable of or didn't feel like writing a better article.
3. Roblox wasn't featured on the Screen Savers :P
