Well, I bought a new PC. This PC has better specs then my previous one and yet it lags to hell compared to my old PC, Only on the following games.

Note:My specs are far over what is demanded.

My Specs:
Video:
NVIDIA  GeForce 8500 GT
Ram:
Kingston 2.5GB Worth
Processor:
3.11Ghz 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+

List:
SWG
EQ2
GMod
TF2
L4D
Portal

Extra Info:
The game is perfect right off the bat and about twenty-thirty seconds later it starts laggin, then perfect for about 10, and loops like this.
The game(s) are all on low detail, I have tried on High details as well.(The low and High both do the same thing.

dont use custom AA past like x8 on blockland. and play in full screen if you can

Blockland is fine for me, yet mostly and Steam game or MMo type game lags to forget for me.

updated video drivers? the ones off the cd or that came with the pc cant be that up to date

Tf2 is a pain in the ass. try to defrag once you install a Valve game.

8500 GT isn't much in graphics. Get something like a 9600 GT.

I'm pretty sure it's that 8500. Get something around 9500 or more, and you're good to go.
