I saw these before. They are cheap knockoffs of movies. Think of it as the WalMart Genaro.

So these aren't really jokes...their just really poorly made?

I remember seeing http://www.theasylum.cc/product.php?id=120 in a Blockbuster store once. I thought it was a parody at first.
