Author Topic: Alternate way to host games in blockland! <NO portfowarding>  (Read 2993 times)

I'm pretty sure Hamachi doesn't work well with Blockland without its own port forwarding.

Plus you have to be stupid as stuff to not be able to port forward.

I wish my new router would stop sucking and letting me get on its page so i can forward my ports again. Sadly, it keeps saying our password is wrong that it gave us.

Some really early beta of "The Builder's Game" (TBM's attempt at making their own game) seemed to allow people to join my server even without port forwards. I believe it used an IRC-based system or something, but I'm not sure of the specifics.

Plus, if you allow windows file sharing, people will steal your files, key.dat included.

So wait, you haven't tried it outside of your network, but you'll keep saying that it will work outside of your network?

Me and my bros where on seperate internet connections

Isee where your getting at...

lock this now
if you cant portforward, you dont deserve to host a server

sounds like a huge pain in the ass just to set the thing up, agreed?
