Author Topic: Console on Vista?  (Read 699 times)

Ever since I got my new laptop, which happens to have Vista on it, it seems I can no longer enter the console in Blockland. Yes, my ` key is working fine, it just doesn't open the console. Does Vista have anything to do with this, and is there a way I can fix my problem?

Edit: Oh yeah, I can't seem to get into the console on any of the games I have on steam, either.

Try remaping the key to a diffrent one.

You can't remap the console key in Blockland. It's stuck as tilde.

For steam games you have to enable it in Options>Keyboard>Advanced.

K, thanks, but I still can't access the Blockland console...

Well I use Vista on my laptop and it works. It most likely isn't Vista if I can get into it.

I do use a laptop with a built-in num pad, if that matters...

Forgot to mention mine has NumPad too.

Tilde isn't on the numpad, it's standard on all keyboards.

Way to blame Vista for your problems.

The Console key appears as the `/¬/| key for me (below Esc, above Tab), but in some other games it's the @/' hey. Try both of those.

Sorry for the bump from page two, but it doesn't really matter because, for some reason, I am now able to open the console on my steam games without remapping it from `, and I can open the console suing ` in Blockland to. Thanks for the help, even though the problem just fixed itself...
