Author Topic: Ipod Touch/Iphone question.  (Read 1335 times)

I want to use my Ipod as an alarm clock. I got the nightsand application, and I want it to play music when I wake up (like an Ihome). The only stroke of brilliance I've had is having a track that's silent and lasts eight hours.

Is there any way to do this, or something different?

If you go into the clock, there is an alarm feature.

Yes, but it doesn't play music when the alarm rings.

I just checked, and you're right. :/

Thats a huge oversight. My old ipod video could even do that...

for your idea about a peice of music that lasts eight hours:
turn the volume down to a level that you can sleep
set it to repeat the one track
have it plugged into the wall so that it doesnt die during the night while you are playing it

No, I want it to play music for a while (Like, an hour and then the playlist ends), then the alarm goes off and another playlist or song plays.

Trow it at the wall untill it makes that weird noise and that will wakes u up.

There's probably some app for that.

Or just get an iHome or a normal working alarm clock.

$80 :\

or get a kick ass one for 120

i saved up and ass load of cash

I won a free iHome at prom. :cookieMonster:
:(
I had to pay for mine

Plus, it doesn't even charge when my iPod is off due to it being jailbroken and stuff (redsn0w tethered jailbreak)

There is an app called MusicAlarm.
