The game was made in 1992 (i think). At one time i had it on my stone aged pc along with wasteland and ancient art of war.

PCs over the years:
old, DOS don't know the specs
windows 3.1, again the specs have been lost to time
Windows 95 233 mhz (super bad-ass)
Windows 98 333 mhz (not a huge upgrade but it was free)
Windows XP 2 GHz
Windows Vista 2.2 GHz dual core <-current, also first laptop

Damn, now that i think about it I've been playing computer games for almost 20 years. Ouch.

Anyway off topic-ness over, i was reminiscing.

Never played Oregon trial, by the looks of it its American History something I wouldn't learn in Australian School.

I use it with no problems.

God, sounds like Firefox really does brainwash a billion kids.
It IS faster.
And cooler!

I've never played Oregon trail but when I was in kindergarten we had these ancient computers that ran DOS with a couple games installed.  I remember one of them was a life sim and all we ever did was make the guy go to the bathroom and all us kids used to giggle when we heard him flush.
At home we had a better computer with commander keen installed and I would sit and play that for hours on end, we also had some other game installed where you played as a goose flying a space ship that would fight alien though for the life of me I can't remember what it's called.

[Edit]: Found the game I was looking for, Star Goose

For people who aren't good with computers and know exactly what sites give viruses, Ie is a very bad decision for a web browser.  For people who are good with computers, they should know that Ie is non-standard complaint, and that Microsoft and their browser ruin the potential ability of sites to be coded once and display right on all browsers.

It's not that firefox is the only browser that people should use, it's that Ie is the only browser people shouldn't use.

JD_ofPivot thinks that he doesn't have that hacking capability :o

I was using my dad's work laptop and he doesnt allow firefox for some reason

And this is not photoshopped it's just creepy
