Author Topic: Sudden Blockland freezing issues.  (Read 846 times)

First off, I have Windows Vista 64-bit with ATI Radeon HD 4850.

Blockland has always worked perfectly for me in every way, yet suddenly I can't play it at all. I open Blockland, I have RTB installed with it, I go look at the RTB updates and download some new stuff I find interesting, like always. The last time I played was a few days before I tried again, where I was building in single player, preparing for a server I was making. While I was building, I get the "LAG" message in yellow at the top of my screen. First slip second I'm think about how that doesn't normally happen, and by that time I see that is is the same effects as when I am in a server as it dies. So press ESC and click dissconnect as I would in a server, then I get Vistas common message saying "Blockaldn has stopped working" so I don't think anything of it, and continue doing other things on my computer. Now, a few days later, I go back on and continue my procedure by checking the RTB updates, download what I like. So this time, I've downloaded a large load of prints. I attempt to go to single player, then Bed Room. Then it freezes just like it does before the loading screen appears. This is where I noticed the issue: This of course now is taking alot longer than normal, I'm not even to the loading screen yet, so I move the mouse around, not even clicking. Then I notice that the Blockland mouse is frozen, but my basic computer mous pointer is seperately moving instead. So I wait awhile, then do thing cliche thing and do CTRL+ALT+Delete, then open the task manager to make the desktop show up without closing it, then the program status says that Blockland isn't responding, and there is also the common XP style message when something freezes and you force it closed. So I click close in that message and it instantly reverts to the regular resolution and is ready to work like before I opened the game. I have tried this several times, turned the computer off, turned it back on, tried again, same issue. The same thing also happened when I clicked tutorial to see if that worked. I realize most people won't want to help me because my ID# is huge and that gives me the "Noob" label, but reguardless, please help.

Go to your blockland's main folder: example: C:\Blockland
And copy console.log from your BL Folder and post it here. btw that is one long post thar.

I keep getting "Attatchment Fail 3" or "You have already posted, you may have double clicked or refreshed"

Blockland really hates me.

I also tried just copying the contents to the post but it has a limit to how much you can post, so I don't know what else to do.

Hmm.. Try uploading the file to www.mediafire.com and put the link on here.
