You can't even Port-Forward on a Mac
wrong

you can port forward on a mac, but it's diffrent.
wrong

but I'm not sure about Linux because I've never tried
don't matter

obviously port forwarding is already the most difficult thing to the not-to-savvy computer users in this community. but i would think people would at least know WHAT port forwarding was...
it goes without saying that computer type and operating system type does not matter at all

Following bisjac, I'm on a Mac. And I've been hosting servers since 0002 (used WINE or Crossovers back then).

You just need to port forward your router. You can do this by logging into your router (eg. 192.168.0.1), and assigning the following ports for Blockland. Badspot setup a step-by-step on what ports to use. Do a search.

And for all those people saying that Macs suck: Mine runs four gig's of hardly used RAM, and has never gotten a virus in it's life; I can run Garry's Mod at 100 frames-per-second.

Heph, ive said this a million times, i port-forwarded ports 28000-28030 and i can host, i just cant join my own dedicated server.

Bump (Badspot can you help me with this stuff?)

Port Forwarding really doesnt change with the computers a whole lot, the numbers and a few things here and there are basicly what change. ANd yes you have to query lan to get into you dedi and other people can join too.
