uber. totaly figit uber.

I live in the city they came from. :D

YOU LIVE IN LIDDYPOOL!!! xD

...yeah, the point of a submarine is to be stealthy
... yeah and the point of the Beatles was to be great muscians.

What's your point?

If a submarine was yellow, it really wouldn't matter, because they're usually detected using RADAR.
So it could be bright pink, if you really wanted it to be, without there being any major stealth issues.

but if it was bright pink all of the other countries would laugh at it :(

in seriousness, does it have an interior?

And if so, what type of offensive abilities does it have? Can it launch nuclear sea to ground missiles?

Haha, so true.

The reason why there dark coloured is because the Radar/Sonar Absorbing paint only comes in dark colours. And dark colours are stealthier in the darkness of the ocean.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense to have a variety of colors for RADAR absorbing paint, but color doesn't really matter that much since detection is mainly RADAR/Sonar based.
That was the point I was trying to make.

and there is no such thing as sonar absorbing paint, but it just makes more sense to paint a sub black, just because when they surface they will be harder to see, or when they are operating at high depths (high as in close to the surface, should I say low depths? )

Edit: A videogame where you drive a nuclear submarine would be cool :)

needs to be yellow :/

how bout... rock band, in a submarine, that is yellow.

There is sonar absorbing paint, which has the effect of  making the object coated in it harder to detect using sonar/radar.  Stealth bombers and submarines use it in the military.
If you still disagree, read This, and go down to the Radar Absorbing Material section.  You may also want to read the main article on RAM (Not computer RAM, the Radar Absorbing Material)

Get your facts right!

Thanks nick but this one is about the actual Radar asorbing.

Yeah, I was short on time to find the main article, but I think it does link you in the one I provided.
And it actually is pretty interesting how it works, converting the radio waves into infrared (heat) waves.
