Recently my father purchased the new album by "The Derek Trucks Band", and was playing it his car, while we were going to the store, and other various places. I have got to say, this band is amazing.

Mainly I get my music interests from whatever I hear and like, no matter where it's from.
Currently, I like Metal, and Power Metal. Examples:
SOAD
Slipknot
Drist(Although, that's not really metal)
Avenged Sevenfold
Power Metal (top 2)
Dragonforce

I think you might enjoy a band called Kamelot. Similar to Dragonforce, but I find them more epic.
