My webcam is perfect during the day, it runs extremely smooth and never lags. But nighttime is a different story, it's too laggy and I can't play certain webcam games. Is there a way to make it run smoothly during the night? I use a Built-in motion eye webcam on a Sony Vaio if that helps :P

Someone is trying to fiddle with that HL2 thing.

I don't have that much experience with webcams, but try updating/reinstalling its drivers/software.

Perhaps it has troubles reading motion in the dark.

Seems like it could be an issue.

Try turning on a few lamps and see if it makes a difference.

I know there's a word for it probably, but I don't know it.

Hmm, if I try to play webcam games and it floods my headset with loud repeating noises.
