I'm going to color it after I've finished the outline.
I didn't finish the other one, though. That bottom picture is as far as I got on the carbine, mostly because it was horridly out of proportion because I wasn't using a reference for scale, only for appearance.

You're kind of doing the same thing I was doing.  I kept starting new projects, and dropping old ones.  And alot of them were very similar, if not a redo of the old project.

Take a break, learn new skills, draw something completely different.  Try sculpting one of these guns, that should be something new.

I find pixel art very boring and "oh look thats nice, ok whatever not interested any more" type of thing, I find things that people put a lot of effect into for something such as a game or a project of some sort have more "Thats nice, I think I'll stare and masturbate at it for a while" value. That's why I masturbate at visit Retro Remakes often.
