How do I find out how much space is left on my computer?

I'm trying to clear out some junk files from my computer so it will hopefully run smoother and faster, and I want to know how to find out how much space is left on my computer, on Windows XP. Any ideas on how to make it run faster are also appreciated.

Space on your harddrive? I just go to my drive and right click>Properties> and profit.
