When you buy the Gmod+TF2 package, you get both individual games, TF2 and Gmod. You can play them as long as you want, and yes the TF2 items will appear in Gmod.

You can play both games and the TF2 items are in G-mod. So later on if you buy CS:S you can play CS:S AND have the items and stuff found in the game.

G-mod does use stuff you have already bought. It will retreve the objects automatically and will use them. Now stop asking these damned questions and read the FAQ.
