Author Topic: Youtube Copyright Issue  (Read 2175 times)

The only reason I would is because of the countless others who get away with it, and have had their videos up forever.

Meanwhile, yours are getting WMG'd the second you upload them.

They should have some sort of system that lets you link your song to Amazon/Itunes, like if your song were replaced.

Someone made a remix and that cigarettegy ass stuff did the WMG bs.

I would just include this in your description (made this up):

Quote
MUSIC:
Stairway To Heaven - Written and recorded by Led Zeppelin
©1971 Atlantic Records

Or for covers:
Quote
MUSIC:
All Along The Watchtower - Written by Bob Dylan; Recorded by the Jimi Hendrix Experience
©1968 Reprise Records

Profit.

EDIT: Also include 'used under fair use rights'

You also need permission from the artists to post.

Personally I think it's some bot that searches for key words like song titles, also when this happens to me I write in the thing that I have permission that does not need consent of owner, and they accept it and restore the audio.

Wow, That worked.
:D
Indeed it does.
Now I got my pointless video to get through copyright stuff.

So you essentially have to insert copyright fluff and nonsense?
