Port forwarding help

Hi its me again, now i need help in port forwarding again
Details :
router : linksys wrt54g
i use a mac and my problem is my router.. on the other post that a posted (idk where is it i think it is in the page 8  of help) last time my problem is i cant figure out what is the user and pass of the router (cause im stuck at the user and pass part) and then badspot commented "Or press the reset button behind your router and the  user and pass will be default" and i did it but nothing happened the user and pass are not still default so any1 plz help?? i want to host a server now!!!

Did Badspot mention that when you press the reset button, you are supposed to hold it for about 30 seconds?
If not do that. You can tell it would be reset because all of the lights on the front of the rouder will light up for a second.
