Author Topic: Textures on my vehicles...  (Read 419 times)

I have encountered a simple and probably obvious problem: my vehicles always assume the "wierd reflective mirror color" when I spawn them. I have assigned them textures in MS3D, but I'm still having trouble. Halp?

Put whatever colors you want to use in the folder that your weapon is in. Get these colors from other add-ons. Now, upload these into a new texture. Name the texture the same name as the png you uploaded. Now, set diffuse to the color you want it to appear like if you are using red.png name your texture red and get a red diffuse.

Edit: It worked, thanks. Now, another dilemma: how2flatshade? No one seems to have a definite answer...

To flatshade

-Select all
-Check "auto smooth"
-Then do a unweld
-Then uncheck "auto smooth"
-Then weld together
-Then open up tile texture mapper(press ok with defaults)
-Then export with Toruqe DTS plus.

Any other questions?
