Idiotic shamble of a WebCam.

I just got this brand-spankin'-new LogiTech^© WebCam, and I did the usual Software Installation & such, until I am just about to try it out when the camera says it is not plugged in. I think: "kay, it might not be plugged in properly." So I follow the troubleshooting guide and plug it back in, it still says" CAMERA IS NOT PLUGGED IN" Then I do this whole process over again about 6 times. Then I freak out. I re-installed the software again. Nothing. So I gave up, and came for some advice here.

Well, if you were my mom I would unplug the USB cable from the Ethernet slot and plug it into a USB slot, but for you I have no idea.

if so do it again

and the whole installation process

and reboot
