Author Topic: I need help choosing a laptop.  (Read 764 times)

For awhile now, I've wanted my own laptop. I'm starting to save up my money, but there are so many laptops, I don't even know where to start. I want one that's not overly expensive, but that isn't a piece of crap. Also, no Macs. I'm a Windows guy. Any help is greatly appreciated. It'll also be awhile until I get enough money to buy one, so most deals and sales going on right now will most likely be done by then.

Preferred possibilities so far
Lenovo ThinkPad
DELL Studio 15

Lenovo ThinkPad.

Looks good. I'll consider it, I just want some more opinions.

Same brand, almost the same laptop, just one has a better screen and stuff. (there are also cheaper models of the cheapest one i posted with the same graphics card. But go big or go home right?)

That one actually looks good for a gaming laptop, design and spec-wise.
I'd get it if I wasn't getting a Lenovo ThinkPad.

That one's a little much, I was hoping to get one under $1,000, but considering I don't know much about laptops, I'm not sure if I can get a decent one for that much. (Except for that ThinkPad, of course.)

Even Miga's ThinkPad is over 1,000...

The reason why the MSI is so great is not only becuase of the price, but becuase you can't find those specs in a laptop under 2,000

And, on top of that every laptop made for gaming (except for the MSI thank god) looks like a forgetin space ship.

Yeah, the ThinkPad's are quite expensive...
My second choice would be that MSI Mr_Grinch14 posted.
