This was a result of the most finely tuned projectile timing and size, and no matter how much I tweaked it, this would happen, so the minijet doesn't fit.  Seeing how the stunt plane is about 2x bigger...well, you can figure that out.

It takes too much fine-tuning and timing, and if the server latency was higher or lower than during the test where it worked, it wouldn't work.
