zombie/ minigame trouble

 when ever i am online,  and start a minigame, the only way i can hurt people  is whith things that explode, therefore, pistols and shotguns dont work. it quite frusterating someone help

when i shoot some one with a gun it does no damage, when i shoot someone with a rocket it does, i want it so the gun and other weapons that dont explode do damage too
