For my programming laptop, I enabled the ability for it to add a floppy drive to it at any time. The owner says not to do so though. He has bad experiences with me modifying stuff like that and the desktop.

Don't they make USB floppy drives? I could've sworn I had one laying around here.

The laptop I use is about six to seven years old. It was built to use Windows 2000/Me. It was a huge 6 gig hard drive with .5 gb ram. Who needs a .5 gig Video card when you can have .25 gigs in one 1.25' x .75' x 1" box!
