I Just forgeted up my Computer. Help Please.

It should be a really simple matter of...

A) When the computer turns on hit "delete" or whatever key it requires to enter the BIOS
B) Go to the Boot Sequence option and change it to [bBboot from the CD drive first[/b].

C) Insert the Vista Install Disk and restart the computer...it should now boot up using the install disk.
D) You should now find an option to Repair the installation (rather than reformat or reinstall)...do it.

You don't lose your files and life goes on.

Next time do plenty of research before trying out a GUI alteration, Windows can be really picky about that stuff. Has to be done just right.

I called tech support, and I tried Safe Mode. It doesn't work.
She recommended I get a local technician to create a back up, then do a system recovery.
I could hardly understand her. She had an Indian accent.
Anyways, thanks for the help...
