If he's such a jerk, then why would you want to use the service he provides? Plus, I would find it perfectly fine if your ID was completely disabled. Getting on servers , saying a friend remark then leaving is pretty jack-assish.

Just because someone's stupid, doesn't mean something they've created/made/done is stupid as well. Plenty of people on this forum don't like Badspot, they're still playing Blockland.

Kalphiter, it's great that you want to help out the community and such, but,
this "ID collection" is more trouble then it's worth.

I mean really, I respected you for quite a while, but you've gone too far.
I remember you saying something about Yuki's old post your ID topic, that it was too slow because it was manual,
and I believe that you had a good idea when you started out with the ID collecting system, but it should be OUR
choice whether or not you get our ID's, we are not your little pawns to play with and label, we are other living, breathing people,
who do not like you to have "fun" at our expense.

What is the problem? I don't find it bothering that people join my server and then leave immediately, I couldn't care less in fact! It doesn't affect me at all, plus, what is the problem with ID collecting? Who cares if your ID is on a list you don't even know about. It may be pointless, but I might want to know what some of the ID's I have never seen are. It's fun looking through all the players of olden times.

Just to all you less-perceptive people; The only reason he continues this ID list stuff is to have some value in this community. He wants to be able to get to a point where if he said "I'm going to close down my ID list" people would all cry out "Noo but we love it, and you by some irrational extension"

I have a plan to solve this issue - In 5 minutes I can get RTB to crank out a list of IDs and Names far more extensive than his and make his life's efforts totally obsolete. The only reason he'd then continue collecting IDs is so he can say "lol I made some really simple script with the help of some other people to post some data to a website! It was really hard but I managed to do it because i'm AWESOME!". I mean, it really is just an ego trip for him - I can't see him actually doing this to provide a service to the community. He just wants to boast the fact that he can post data to a website.

I'll start a vote in the RTB Dev Thread to see who wants RTB to publish a BL ID/Name list later.
