help with output perameters

Not sure with forum to look for this in but what I am looking for is a description of what the output parameters or for various events. For example, if you choose setvelocity as an output event it opens three output parameter boxes but I have no idea what to they do. ANyway just hoping someone can point me to where I could look up each event.

You can also try putting different values in there and triggering the event to see what they do.
