Beast wars wasn't "cartoons"  :\

it was CGI that sucked ass. get your animation styles right next time.

Beast wars was also a spinoff of an earlier Transformers Beast series. Or the other way around. :| Haven't looked through the TF archives in a while.

Also graphically beast wars wasn't amazing, sure, not compared to today's CGI. But there was plenty of action and that's all that mattered back then when the censorship department was starting to tighten it's death grip on everything we held dear.

I think I still have VHS tapes with Beast Wars on them.

Also the new Transformers movie looks like it'll be pretty good.

It was seriously a good movie, good action movie anyways. A bit too much screen time for the pusillanimous individual kids but what can you do, hopefully in this movie those kids loving died.
